A little bit about me...but not too much...

I'm not really in the habit of writing this blog. As you, my nonexistent reader, are surely aware. I've always thought of blogging as emphasizing the "blah" syllable. Are you interested that I'm going to Austin, TX tomorrow? that I'm drinking a tasty beer right now? that I just put on a jacket so I could write this blog entry? Actually that last one is kind of interesting, in addition to being true. I'm kind of a nut about living up to (or at least appearing to) the claims that I make from time to time. For instance, I've done my best to live up to the stereotype of the "Liberal" that this anti-Howard Dean campaign ad was kind enough to itemize.

1. Latte drinking (occasionally)
2. Sushi eating (whenever I can afford it)
3. Volvo driving (it's even the old brick-style monster)
4. New York Times reading (every Tuesday when I'm at IUPUI)
5. Body piercing (Not so much, but I do have a first tattoo in mind which will be covered on a future post)
6. Hollywood loving (I'm not sure what this means, but I do like movies)
7. Left-wing freak show (What the hell does that mean?)

In short, I'm living the dream. Granted, I didn't use this ad as a checklist until my Dean campaign veteran girlfriend pointed out that I fit most of the criteria.

Now that you know a little more about me you will have a context for the updates that will surely follow as unreliably as this one has followed my first post.
